And so to Living
You may remember my article about knitwear. About the joys I got from the soft Alpaca Wool found near the Equator, and, simultaneously the style I admired from afar as Etik, Paris showcased piece after beautiful piece on their Instagram.
I had the good fortune to speak to Etik, and learned that it was indeed South America, and the soft, fine wool you find there, which formed a catalyst for their story.
Today I popped in to REW, to see an old friend and fellow small business owner. If you don’t know about her then you really should.
Rachel Emma Wright launched her business back in June 2011 but has been serving the fashion forward crowd for many years. I knew her as the really trendy girl that wore something new and funky every Friday night. Rachel started creating clothing in her spare bedroom after studying milinary at the Epsom School of Art. She later moved her business into a shed at the bottom of the garden and now owns a gorgeous studio in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Here, new designs are born, created and luckily for us we can pop in any time and pick up a unique piece.
