Vintage Sheet Music Earrings
Stylish music earrings made from upcycled vintage sheet music. Give the perfect musical gift for any music lover, music teacher, or for your 1st 'paper' anniversary. Each pair is unique as no-one else will have a pair exactly the same. Being black and white they will co-ordinate with any outfit and are ideal as both everyday jewellery or for special occasions. No more worrying about which earrings to wear!
I have used a vintage hymn book dated 1902 to make them, which has the perfect size notes. I found the book in a terrible state - the spine of the book was broken and the pages were falling out. I love to make jewellery from upcycled materials, being able to give this old book a new lease of life is quite special. Your earrings may not be the exact ones photographed, but would be very similar to these. One will feature a treble clef and the other simple notes.
Dimensions and materials used A page of sheet music for each earring is cut and set into a pair of silver-plated mounts and topped with a glass dome. The diameter of the image is 16mm. The glass dome magnifies the image slightly and draws attention to the notes themselves. They hang from a wire earring hook - you have the choice of either silver plated or silver hooks.
Packaging used Your earrings will be sent to you on an earring card made from recycled materials. They will be wrapped in sheet music and then posted to you in eco-friendly packaging. This can be fully composted or recycled.
